Virginia Library Leadership Academy - Logo Design

This is a logo design for the Virginia Library Leadership Academy (VALLA). They were in need of a redesign for their nonprofit associated with the Virginia Library Association. Their mission is to provide leadership development and mentoring that is individualized, regular, and accessible. Their aim was to create a brand that was colorful, eclectic, fun, and welcoming. When I met with the client, they shared with me a process of sharing various concepts: more formal, more fun, and a designer's choice. The overarching concept was a logo design that was uplifting and synonymous to an upward movement, growth, etc. It was outside of my usual design process, but it was a valuable learning experience that led to a final design that matched well for the vision the client wish to achieved.
